How Anime Adventures trait rerolls work
According to the community wiki, a newly summoned unit has a 1% chance to roll a trait. After that you can reroll it with Star Remnants, which cost 1 for Rare, Epic and Legendary units and 5 for Mythic and Secret units, or with Reroll Tokens at one per roll. A reroll can also land a double trait, listed at 0.2%. A Legendary unit that evolves to Mythic keeps its trait, and Update 19 added Trait Transfer. If you are new, start with the Anime Adventures beginner guide before you spend Star Remnants.
The odds table has a very long tail. Unique, at 0.1%, takes about 1,000 rerolls on average, which at 5 Star Remnants a roll is about 5,000 Star Remnants. That is why most players settle for Superior, Nimble or Range on units they use, and save rerolls for units from the Anime Adventures best units list and the Anime Adventures tier list.
What the simulator does not know
The game has been patched since the wiki's trait page was written, and the wiki warns that parts of it are outdated. We do not know whether the current build changed the shares, and the history of the return shows no logged update after April 2025. Trade values for traited units belong in Anime Adventures trading; the Anime Adventures units database shows which units are worth the cost.

It picks a trait for each reroll using the shares from the community wiki's trait table, which add up to about 100%. The calculator turns one trait's share into the average number of rerolls to hit it, the median, and the number that covers 90% of players.
How many Star Remnants does a reroll cost?
According to the community wiki, a reroll costs 1 Star Remnant for Rare, Epic and Legendary units and 5 for Mythic and Secret units. Reroll Tokens cost one per roll. The calculator multiplies the rerolls by the cost you pick.
Are the trait odds in this simulator confirmed in game?
No. The shares come from the community wiki and we have not tested them ourselves. The game has been patched since April 2025, so treat the numbers as a guide, not a guarantee.
What is the best trait to roll?
Unique has the strongest listed effect, about 4x damage, but it limits you to one placement of that unit. Divine and Golden are the next rarest. For most players the Anime Adventures best units guide matters more than chasing the rarest trait.
