Anime Adventures Relics Guide

Anime Adventures relics guide: what relics do, how to craft them, the relics guides recommend and which ones can be traded.

5 min readLast checked Sources

Anime Adventures relics are equippable items that boost a unit's damage in Gomu's Roblox tower defense. This guide covers what they add, how they are crafted, which ones guides call strong and what can be traded. According to the community wiki, last logged at Update 20.4.1, relics arrived in Update 7. We could not confirm later changes, so check costs in the crafting menu before you farm.

Anime Adventures relics: what they do

Relics came with the damage types and each one adds some of three buffs for a type:

  • % DMG raises the damage of units of that type by a percentage.
  • PEN (penetration) cuts through enemy resistance. The wiki says resistance scales damage by 100 divided by (100 plus resistance), so an enemy with 150 Magic Resistance takes only 40 percent of Magic damage.
  • PWR (power) adds damage per second per upgrade and scales with unit level, so its number changes when you equip it.

Some relics add crit chance or a special effect instead. The wiki says units of Epic rarity or below cannot equip relics, and that you can only run one of each Unique relic on a team, so two units cannot both hold Mirrorblade. Relics can be moved between units. The wiki does not say how many one unit can hold, so we leave that out. Rarity is on the Anime Adventures units list.

Anime Adventures relic crafting

Relics are crafted, not summoned. You hand over materials and gold, and the wiki shows a crafting list rather than a drop table. Materials come from stage drops, and the wiki says certain Legend Stages give relic materials. Legend Stages are side stages that open after you clear Act 6 of the matching story world, and they mainly feed Anime Adventures evolution. The wiki gives no drop amounts.

Relic Shards are the rare material for the top relics. The wiki says they drop in the Sacred Planet Anime Adventures raids: The Genie (Act 4) gives one at a 10 percent chance and The Pure Form (Act 5) gives one every time. Destructoid, in a guide updated February 14, 2025, says the same and also says Demonic Spellbooks come from Demon Leader's Portals, earned in the Fabled Kingdom Legend Stages.

RelicMaterials and gold (wiki)Effects the wiki lists
Steel Shiv (Epic)10 Steel Ingots, 4,000 gold+1% to 4% Physical DMG, +0.5 to 2 Physical PWR, +20 to 40 Physical PEN
Kunai (Epic)10 Steel Ingots, 4,000 gold+2% to 8% Physical crit chance
Amplifying Codex (Epic)20 Empty Tome, 5,000 gold+1% to 4% Magic DMG, +0.5 to 2 Magic PWR, +20 to 40 Magic PEN
Mirrorblade (Mythic)10 Relic Shards, 5 Demonic Spellbooks, 10,000 gold+2% to 5% Physical DMG, +10% to 20% crit chance, and every 4 to 6 strikes the next gains +100% crit chance
Endless Blades (Mythic)10 Relic Shards, 10,000 gold+2% to 6% Physical DMG, +30 to 50 PEN, +20% to 50% crit chance
Miracle Timepiece (Mythic)25 Lost Chapter, 25 Empty Tome, 2 Devil Heart, 18 Steel Ingots, 10,000 gold+2% to 5% Magic DMG, one random +2% to 8% roll of another damage type, and a periodic true-damage hit on a Magic attack

These are the Anime Adventures relics with the clearest published numbers. The wiki also lists 5-Leaf Clover, Clover of the Wind and Mermaid Crown (all Mythic, 10,000 gold each) and Infernal Gaze.

Anime Adventures relics the guides call best

The wiki's tier list pages add a recommended relic to unit entries, which is the closest thing to a best relics list we found. They name Fused Hero with Mirrorblade, Shinobi (Eternal) with Mangekyo Eye and several entries with Miracle Timepiece. Infinity Castle entries use Mermaid Crown and the Clover relics. Destructoid calls Mirrorblade, which was named Lostvain until Update 19, the best relic for most Physical units, especially fast attackers with no crit of their own.

Two gaps matter. The wiki's relic table shows no recipe for Mangekyo Eye, although the Relic Shards page says shards craft it. It also lists Nail, a Mythic relic costing 500 Gun Devil Bullets, under unobtainable, so do not plan around it. Match the relic to your unit's damage type, then see the Anime Adventures best units and Anime Adventures tier list pages for who to build.

Trading and dungeon relics

Some Anime Adventures relics can be traded, including limited ones, and the wiki puts a 2,000 gem tax on a Mythic relic trade. The rules are on the Anime Adventures trading page. Dungeon runs also have a separate relic choice square with curses and blessings, covered in the Anime Adventures dungeon guide. New players can start with the Anime Adventures beginner guide. Check the Anime Adventures updates log for later changes.
