Is Anime Adventures back? Yes. The Gomu tower defense is live on Roblox with about 58,100 players on October 25, 2026, and its public servers were full when we checked. This page covers what happened since it vanished in December 2023, and what we could and could not verify.
Is Anime Adventures back? The short answer
Roblox's public data on October 25, 2026 lists the game as live: about 58,100 players, roughly 2.52 billion visits, a 30-player server cap and servers at 30, 26 and 25 players. The experience was updated that day. It belongs to the Gomu group, which has about 1.07 million members and lists only this one public game. Any page that still calls the game private is out of date.

Anime Adventures private: what happened in December 2023
Update 18.5 (the Buu Saga raid) arrived on December 9, 2023. Around December 21 and 22, 2023 the game, then past 1.9 billion visits, disappeared from Roblox search and showed as private or under review. Two BlockZone games went the same way. The cause is rumored, not confirmed: online claims pointed to copyright reports, but the developer never confirmed a reason, so treat any cause as unproven.

So is Anime Adventures back for good? The table shows it was playable again by December 25, 2024, but we cannot say whether it stayed up the whole time. Each patch is on the Anime Adventures updates log.
Re://Adventures is a different game
Re://Adventures is an unrelated fan clone by SlowBlox Studios. Gomu did not make it, and its codes, units and guides should be treated as separate. A 2024 secondhand report said Gomu filed a takedown against a remake called Re:Adventures, with one colon; we have not confirmed how that relates to Re://Adventures. To be sure you have the right game, check that the creator is the Gomu group and the place ID in the URL is 8304191830.
Why the Roblox title says April Fool's
The current title is "[APRIL FOOL'S] Anime Adventures", and the store text still advertises a Holidays Update. Update 20.4.1 added the Fool's Hunt event around April 2025. GAMES.GG describes the game as in a quiet stretch between holiday and April Fool's content, with the lobby still showing both. We found no statement from Gomu on why the title was not changed back.
What we could not confirm
- April 2025 to October 2026. The wiki logs nothing after 20.4.1 and we found no primary announcement, so we cannot say what changed in those 18 months.
- Why players surged. One fan tracker recorded about 17,800 players on October 23 against 58,113 on October 25. Whether that is a relaunch of the old build or a new one is not documented.
- Update 21. It is reported as coming, but there is no date, patch notes or unit list, so we list nothing from it.
- Official channels. We could not capture a verified Discord invite, so our Anime Adventures Discord and official links page lists only what we verified.
